Databases (library card required)
The library pays for these resources that contain information and practice tests you can’t find using search engines like Google. You will need your library card to access these sites from home. 

Career Cruising
Take quizzes to find out your strengths, learn about the courses you need to take to land your dream job and get step-by-step help writing a resume. Note that you must create a user name and password to get started on the site. 

Learning Express Library
An absolutely stellar resource for high school students. Includes subject help in all areas such as math, trigonometry, reading comprehension, writing and more. Take practice tests (SAT, TOEFL, GED several others) that give instant results. Also includes practical advice on writing the best post-secondary application. Note that you must create a user name and password to get started on the site. 

Tumblereadables
Contains full online copies of classics by Charles Dickens, Shakespeare and more. You can listen to the books being read loud and take quizzes to test your understanding of the text.

School District No. 43 Student Resources
A wealth of information targeted to SD43 students. Click on the “SD43 Digital Library” to search for a particular topic. Note that some of the resources require a username and password that you must get from your teacher-librarian or principal.
