Philosophers’ Cafe´ is a series of informal public discussions in libraries, cafe´s and restaurants throughout Metro Vancouver. The cafe´s, which are open to everyone, have brought dialogue and discussion to thousands of people who are interested in exploring issues from the absurd to the sublime. How do you know if you've achieved it?
Moderator Krista Wallace is an author who writes mostly fantasy, but has mucked about with other genres and short fiction. She has her BFA in theatre from the University of Victoria. She has a great interest in musical theatre and also sings jazz in a big band and in a trio. The rests of the time, she can be found writing in a closet in Port Coquitlam.

Moderator Pamela Preston is interested I lifelong learning and influences on human development. As an Early Childhood Educator with a certification in non-profit management, Pam has worked in the third sector supporting children and families for more than 30 years.
