Excel Basics: Level 1

Spreadsheets are useful not only in the office, but also in our everyday life. It can help you stay organized, and keep tabs on your time, expenses, to-dos, and more.
You can use a spreadsheet to:
• Manage your expenses
• Keep a home inventory
• Create an invoice for your business
• Track your workout progress and fitness goals
In this workshop, we will learn how to use Microsoft Excel (2013 version), one of the most popular spreadsheet programs.
Level 1: Thursday, Jan 31, 6:30-8pm
For beginners who have never used Excel before. Basic computer skills required.
Get familiar with basic concepts, and learn how to enter data to create a simple spreadsheet.
Level 2: Thursday, Feb 28, 6:30-8pm
For learners with basic knowledge of Excel.
Sort and filter your spreadsheet data, perform calculations, and create charts.
You can bring your own laptop, or use one of the library’s.
