Resource support

Looking for resources on a particular theme or unit of study? We can help you gather print and electronic resources including books, DVDs, and primary sources.

Library and class visits

Want to bring your class to the library? We accommodate all grade levels and can provide the following services during a visit:
•  tours
•  literacy or storytelling programs (primary grades)
•  book talks
•  library database and resource tutorials

A librarian can also visit your class to provide any of the services listed above. Please note that we are a small staff with limited availability and require at least three weeks notice for all bookings.

Book Buddies program referrals

Our Book Buddies program is for struggling readers in Grades 2-4. Working with a Teen Buddy, students practice reading, play literacy games, and build their confidence about literacy.

Know a student who could benefit from this program? Know a high school student who would be a great Teen Buddy? We are always happy to accept referrals from teachers.
