| Two Libraries. One Search. allows you to search many different databases at one time, including:
- Port Moody Public Library's (PMPL) catalogue
- Coquitlam Public Library's (CPL) catalogue
- all public libraries in BC (Outlook)
- online magazine and newspaper subscriptions (1000s of magazines!)
- online encyclopedias and directories
- and more
Important: None of these resources are available through standard Web searching such as Google because they are either our library catalogues or databases to which we subscribe.

Access
You can access Two Libraries. One Search in a number of ways:
|
Full Access (From Home): In order to have full access to all of the databases, you must be a member in good standing at PMPL. That means that you cannot have more than 5 overdue items on your account or more than $5 in overdue fines. If your account is in order, then follow the Start Searching link at the top and bottom of this page and enter in your library barcode number (no spaces) and, as your password, the last 4 digits of your phone number.
Guest Access (From Home): If you have blocks on your account or if you do not have a PMPL library card, you can access the system as a guest. However, you will only be able to search the library catalogues. If your account needs clearing or you do not have a card, then follow the Start Searching link at the top and bottom of this page and click on Go.
In Library Access: When you are in the Library, all you need to do is click on Begin.
CPL Access (From Home): You can also access this service through CPL (CPL-Two Libraries. One Search!) using your CPL card. You will need to enter your library card barcode number and your 4 digit password.

Now I'm Here, What Do I Do?
Using your mouse, place a check in the little boxes beside the catalogues/databases you want to search. Then type your search words in the search box and click on Search. It's that easy.
If you want to search a resource that does not have a little box, but instead has a little picture of the earth and a link ( ), then click on the picture and you will be taken to that Web site.
Note: More detailed search instructions are available through the search screen.
Please call the PMPL Information Desk at (604) 469-4577 if you need any help accessing this system.
